Sunday, so out for Sunday lunch,
Diana all in blue,
this week we decided on the Punch & Judy, it is on Soi 8, Thepprasit Rd, it is the road that runs down to Soi 17, just past the Eden Hotel on the right with the Punch & Judy on the left hand side,
3 cuts of meat for Diana, lamb, chicken and pork,
for myself just the roast lamb, but with two Yorkshire puddings, 'Cheers!',
next and home feet up for a few ZZZZ,s, then tonight's DVD The Wicker Man, this the original made in 1973, I had watched it on VHS tape before, but this one had many deleted scenes in it that did not appear on the VHS tape of it I had, Sgt. Howie travels to Summerisle to investigate the disappearance of a young girl, he discovers that the locals are weird and unhelpful, and becomes determined to get to the bottom of the disappearance, also on the DVD the extras gave a good insight to some of the problems that went with making and saving of this film, it is course old now, but if you have not seen it give it a try, it is worth it,
then the lights went out, not just us but as far as we could see along the street all was in darkness, so on with the mobile telephone to use as an expensive light, find the flashlights as we were desperately trying to remember where we had put the candles so we would know where to find them, only then to realise we did not have a lighter, after rummaging through half a dozen drawers by touch light we found a lighter that worked, as we lit the second of the three candles the lights came back on, so we then settled down to watch the first of series 6 of MI5, episode #6.1, MI-5 learn that a rogue Iranian intelligence officer, Megan Asnik, may be plotting an attack, Zaf and Adam go undercover in Tehran with the intent to assassinate Aznik before he can cause any real damage, unlike many before it this series leaves you with a half finished story, so we had to watch episode #6.2, a plague-like virus is unleashed in London, with the virus spreading, Harry Pearce decides to take extraordinary action to find out who might have an antidote, it was now so late for us it was off to bed.
