so we had more than a few cups of tea,
as we watched Bargain Hunt,
compared by our favorite presenter Tim Wonnacott,
then quick as a flash it was time to go out for our evening meal,
the Secrets taxi was waiting to whisk us away,
a self portrait of us taken by Diana,
we arrived at the Ali Baba restaurant on Pattaya Central,
and no they were not real gold coins or jewels,
we sat in a different part of the restaurant this evening,
we were so hungry we forgot again to photograph the poppadom starters,
but we did remember to take a picture of the shared prawn puri,
and butterfly prawns,
Diana was wearing a matching dress and hand made glass necklace and earrings,
we had bought the necklace and earrings at the art and craft market in Greenwich, when we went to the UK last year,
then the main course arrived, sizzling chicken with chicken tikka massala, accompanied by peas pilow rice,
'Cheers!',
there was so much to eat, the problem is that many of the dishes are so large, but at the same time we wanted to have a variety to try,
so we just took our time, unfortunately though nothing stays the same forever, prices had risen, our bill for the meal including a milkshake for Diana and a few glasses of wine for myself came to just a tad under 2,000 baht, at today's rate £40.77, may be it is me, but the prices out here seem to be catching up what they are in the UK,
next home in the taxi feet up and we started to watch Edward & Mrs. Simpson, it was the 7 part television series filmed in 1978, each episode of 50 minuets, for me a great story helped along by a strong cast, of course Edward was referred to as David through out the series, he was in fact christened Edward Albert Christian George Andrew Patrick David, then for us off to bed.
