After Our Meal,

we made our way past the lighthouse,

and continued our way through the boatyard,

the new jetty is coming along a pace,

but so far there has been no word of a compilation date,

but it certainly looks very impressive,

the view looking back towards the lighthouse,

and towards Pattaya, the building on the right I think is the customs building,

we continued towards Pattaya,

mooring berths all the way,

I have to say the new harbour when finished is going to be huge,

if you are going for a drive along here remember it is place of work, so look out for tractors towing boats,

and whilst looking at the jetty try not to run into one of the trailers,

there are lots of them here!

there is some construction work going on at the start of the road,

that leads from the new project opposite Bali Hai pier,

for some reason the traffic was particularly busy as we turned right to go up the hill to the overpass,

so busy a number of drivers decided to do a U turn,

then at last clear road ahead, so home feet up to watch some television,

as we waited for the market to open,

I have to say I am not to sure about buying eggs in a bag, I mean knowing me there would be a few broken ones by the time I got home,

whilst at the market I noticed these palm trees in fruit,
the one on the left had a pretty good crop of seeds,

I guess many of these must be eaten by birds or squirrels,

even if only 10% of these germinated we would by swamped by this palm!

the seeds on the palm on the right seemed a little more developed,

as they seemed a little shrivelled,

apart from some vegetables theses were what we were here for,

some prawns for tonights bar-b-q,

and some fresh pineapple,

next my turn to light the bar-b-q,

half took quiet well,

our feast for this evening,

by now all was well on the bar-b-q front,

so it was Diana's turn to start cooking, potatoes and onions and potato in garlic butter bom-boms in foil with garlic bread,

followed by prawn kebabs, along with some pork,

next a few prawns still in their shells,

which Diana cooked to perfection,

prawn kebabs and a glass of wine, what could be better?

chicken, baked potatoes and garlic onions I guess, 'Cheers!' after our meal we watched some satellite television, then for us we were off to bed.
