to a background of thunder in the distance,
the sky was really cloudy,
then the rain came down,
luckily it had cleared up by the time we went to the market, no clouds in the sky looking towards Jomtien,
or looking inland,
opposite the bar this evening a crew from Yamaha and a clothes stall,
just 3 bikes for this evening,
easy does it,
after this afternoons rain I hope it holds off for the evening as this stall did not have a cover,
there were a few people in the food aisles,
but not many in the pet section,
new for this week the other end of the market had a pedestrian walk way cordoned off by new poles and cables,
the sun going down looking towards Jomtien,
the 3 brand new Yamaha's looking for new homes,
there were just a couple of people at the bar this evening,
we were joined by Russ and Mr. Tony,
Brian also arrived,
for our evening meal we decided on the Punch & Judy, it is located between Pattaya 3rd Road and Thepprasit Soi 8, almost opposite the Eden Hotel,
as we arrived one of the staff was putting up a banner,
for our meal Diana chose Welsh rarebit,
Russ fancied a burger whilst Mr. Tony went for the cottage pie,
for myself I tried the 199 baht Friday special, fish & chips,
all of which we pronounced as delicious,
a burger without tomato sauce, perish the thought!
'Cheers!', from all of us,
for dessert we just had to have a banoffee pie, it was invented at the Hungry Monk, East Sussex, England in 1972,
we shared ours,
and it was delicious, then home for a night cap before we said our goodbyes, then for us we were off to bed.
