we have arranged to meet them later,
for a change we decided to start at the far end of the market, this is the first entrance, it is about 100 meters further along than the MP petrol station but on the other side of the road, as you walk in there are few food stalls,
and then 5 or 6 stalls selling shoes,
turning back into the market, swimwear,
so many colours to chose from,
as it happens I will need a couple of pairs for next month,
looking inland, I am of course one block of apartments further away from where I normally take this picture,
I have now walked to the middle of the market where I look towards Jomtien,
considering it is the rainy season still hardly a cloud in the sky,
and again looking inland nice clear skies,
opposite the bar this evening it looks like an 'Avon Calling' both is being set up along side a secondhand clothes stall,
the new stalls seem to be finished,
not many customers in the first food aisle, but wait a second who is that? Diana,
the second food aisle seemed more crowded,
and on the corner of the third aisle this stall had set up,
selling various dried meats,
a family looks like it is about to purchase a husky,
sunset over the market,
I am now walking past the other end of the food aisles,
with lots of fresh produce,
I made my way back to the bar where we meet up with Uday,
and some of the boys,
we were all so thrilled to meet up again,
we then made our way into town to meet up with the rest of the gang,
we seldom go into town,
and then hardly ever to this end of Second Road,
so it is always a bit of a surprise as so many old bars that I used to go to have disappeared and new buildings sprung up in their place,
and this is where we were meeting up, the Heineken beer garden,
our table for 4 soon became a table for 5,
then a table for 8,
time to eat, so we made our way along Second Road past the Big C complex,
Second Road is being re-surfaced to make it ready for the high season,
we made our way past Alcazar,
and arrived at Bella Italia, our restaurant for the evening,
there was a huge pizza oven on the left,
at the rear a fully stocked bar,
and dessert station,
we all chatted the night away,
Diana looking as lovely as ever, we all shared many plates of garlic bread topped with cheese, tomato and other toppings,
then what a treat, Diana just loves pizzas and I am guessing this one is her favourite,
for myself a selection of cold meats,
we all had a fabulous evening, and both thank everyone for their kindness, also a thank you to Sunda who unfortunately could not be here for the tea bags, greatly appreciated, the evening was made complete by the attention of Pa,
this is her card,
if you want to visit the restaurant Second Road is one way traffic, so when you see the Alcazar sign on your right it is 100 or so yards before it, great food and atmosphere, well we could hardly move we were so full, we then said our thanks and goodbyes to the boys and made a move for home, feet up, a quick look at TMN cable and we were off to bed.
