I was off to Jack Levy's office,
on Pattaya Tai, to pick up our insurance documents for our BUPA membership and one of our motorbikes insurance,
then in the evening we were out,
to the La Ferme restaurant,
which is just past the dolphin roundabout on the left if you are going towards Naklua,
we had arraigned to meet up with Jim and Cher,
the inside of the restaurant was amazing, I did not take any more pictures as the restaurant was already full with dinners, but if you have time click on the link above to see a few more pictures,
Jim and Cher had reserved the table with the big chair for Diana,
we were spoilt for choice,
but Jim, Cher and myself chose the lobster bisque, which arrived with a puff pastry top,
whilst Diana went with the Caesar salad,
'Cheers!',
from us all,
Diana all smiles in the big chair,
on to our main courses,
lamb chops for Jim,
for Cher,
sea bass,
a rump steak for Diana,
and a Wagyu steak for myself, the food was without doubt first class,
but the carafes could have been a touch larger, they were I guess just 250 ml, about one of my normal sized glasses! but all in all it was an excellent meal
Jim and Cher invited us back to their apartment where they are staying for their holiday,
the Woodlands Suites, which was located just behind the restaurant,
the foyer had an imposing infinity water feature,
then up to the fifth floor,
and into their apartment,
which was nicely laid out,
then a real treat,
Jim and Cher had very kindly offered to bring from the USA,
a couple of wool hats,
so this will be the new me, the next time we go fishing,
well we both just had to pose!
we were both impressed by how well mead the hats were,
the girls had to try them too, Diana had a wrap on, it was a bit to cold for her when we first arrived as the air conditioning was on,
Cher was busy in the kitchen,
crushing bars of chocolate and opening tubs of ice cream and chocolate sauce,
did I mention cream?
Cher had made us two huge bowls of ice cream delights,
delicious!
and how else to round off the evening,
than with two Irish coffees, we chatted the rest of the night away, no one could believe it was 1.00 in the morning when we left, we both thanked Jim and Cher for looking after us so well and for taking the time and trouble to bring over my hats, we caught a blue and yellow taxi home, I was surprised how quiet the streets were, we were home in no time, so feet up for a red wine or three, a program we both find immensely funny was on Just for Laughs, so we watched 3 episodes of that then we were off to bed.
