inception of the Oscars, not in my order of preference, but there it is
they are all winners, I had to put a picture of number 12, Gone With The
Wind in the post if for no other reason than the book found itself at number 26 on the American Library Association’s list of the 100 most-banned
classics, the book was not even available in Russian, as it was
not given permission to be
published by the central party committee until it's
translation finally and publicly appeared in 1982, made by Tatiana
Alexseyevna Kudriavtseva, who waged a successful 18-year battle with
the Communist Party to finally publish the book, it was
of course printed in Russia in 1940, but was never made available to
the public, back to the films, so how
many of the 86 films have you seen? for myself a disappointingly low
of only 59.
