this could be the one for you,
the new Cayman GT4, there are now 21 different versions of the Porsche 911, this
week, the company added a fourth version to its Cayman sportscar lineup, dubbed the 'GT4,' the newest member of the family,
is also the fastest and most intense production car to ever don the Cayman
badge, Porsche took the Cayman GT4 to the legendary Nurburgring, the German
test track of choice for high-performance cars and logged a lap time of 7
minutes and 40 seconds, that's on par with
supercars like the Mercedes SLS, the Mercedes McLaren SLR, and even Porsche's
own 997 911 GT3 which is pretty impressive,
so here are the facts, the flat-six
engine is equipped with direct fuel injection (DFI), VarioCam Plus and
integrated dry-sump lubrication, these are supplemented by a variable intake
manifold with switchable resonance valve for a healthy supply of air, from its
capacity of 3.8 litres, it delivers 385 hp (283 kW) at 7,400 rpm,
maximum torque of 310 lb.-ft. (420 Nm) is available in the range from 4,750 to
6,000 rpm, when combined with a low
weight-to-power ratio of 4.7 kg/kW (7.7 lbs/hp), this leads to performance figures of 62 mph that takes just 4.2 seconds and top track speed is
183 mph, so what does all of this mean? the manufactures selling price, $84,600.00, I wonder if that includes a full tank of fuel?
