I Had A Quiet Day,

Diana was at work,

so I charged all of the batteries for the infrared camera, in the late afternoon I was out, walking past some of the houses nearby,

to the station at Beckenham Junction then change at Bromley South for Maidstone East, I was meeting Duncan, Steve and Alan at the usual pub for a get together and a meal, but due to gas works it was closed, so on to plan B,

and here is plan B, the Spice Hut on Brewer Street in Maidstone,

for our starters tandoori chicken for Steve,

 prawn cocktail for Duncan,

whilst Alan and myself decided on a King prawn puri,

 all of which was delicious,

 'Cheers!', from Alan,

 our main courses arrived,

and there were lots of them,

and a 'Cheers!', from Steve and myself, the bill for the 4 of us came to £111.45, which when you think that both Alan and Duncan who were not driving were on beers is we all thought very reasonable, the house wine at £12.95 was just .50p more expensive than 2 beers, I have to say in all the other restaurants we have visited over here the house wine has been £17.95 at its lowest, normally £19.95 is closer to the mark, all in all the meal was excellent, the food full of flavour with generous portions, it was so nice that on my next visit to see the boys it might be another Indian, we chatted away, then after dropping Duncan off, Steve kindly dropped me off at the station,

where I had just missed the London bound train, a photograph of the sunset,

and what a difference 30 minutes makes to the photographs, the same settings in the camera, both photographs straight out of the camera with no adjustments, I guess the lights from the station fooled the camera into giving the sky a ultra blue hue, arriving home it was feet up for a nightcap, but first yesterday's mystery has been solved,

yesterday we saw this chap on the beach with his own photographer, and wondered who it was, well thanks to John S, it appears that it appears to be David Morrissey, who played Thorne in the TV series, many thanks for that, we started to watch the last episode of Game of Thrones, season 7, about half way through we stopped and for us we were off to bed.
