Out Early,

to join the queue of OAPS (Old Aged Pensioners),

at Sainsburys in town, for the first half hour of opening, only health and care workers are admitted, the next hour for OAPs, after which it is the hoarders scrum,

it was a beautiful day, the cherry blossom looking so nice,

clear blue skies, with just a nip in the air, there was a slight frost last night, into Sainsburys and most shelves were full, but, you guessed it, no toilet paper, what is it with people hoarding toilet paper? just a couple of things on our weekly shopping list not in stock, gammon ham for Sunday, so I bought a chicken instead, and Knorr packet soups, apart from that all was well, and then a nice gesture by Sainsburys, as I left one of the staff on the way out, I thought was struggling with a tray of flowers, I stopped and asked if she wanted a hand, she replied, 'no I am fine, but would you like a bunch to take home with our compliments!' what a nice gesture by Sainsburys,

later in the day I called into the shop, Kingfisheries, for a look around,

walking back through the park, I am looking forward to the wisteria on the outside of Foxgrove Lodge coming into  bloom,

Steve and Kai called round after our evening meal, and guess what? as they left Sainsburys they were give three bunches of flowers! one for Steve's Mum, one for them, and they very kindly brought one bunch round for us, a little while later we found out that the Prime Minister was going to address the nation, and he did, the lockdown for the UK has started, so tonight will be the last time for at least 21 days that we will see Steve and Kai, after saying our farewells we settled in to watch a few quiz shows, one from Poirot, a Mrs. Brown's Boys, after which we were off to bed.
