Another Day In Lockdown,

which brings more problems for daily life like this, waste disposable, this arrived in my emails yesterday, from Bromley Council, with a problem for one at the end of the post,

Waste and recycling

  • We are working closely with our partner Veolia to ensure the most essential services can continue to be delivered safely. Bromley’s recycling and waste services and street cleaning services have been temporarily modified. Our approach has been carefully planned to minimise disruption as much as possible.
  • How have the services changed?
  • We have prioritised food waste and non-recyclable refuse collections to ensure these essential services remain in operation. What will my temporary collection service be?
  • The following services will be in operation from Tuesday 24 March:
  • Only food waste and non-recyclable refuse will be collected
  • Food waste will be collected weekly on your usual collection day
  • Non-recyclable refuse will be collected every other week on your usual collection day
  • Your collections may take place at a different time than usual
  • The following services are temporarily altered or suspended.
  • Household recycling services (paper and card; plastic, tins and glass; batteries, textiles and small electrical items) are temporarily suspended
  • Green garden waste collection service is temporarily suspended, including one-off sack collections
  • Bulky Items collection service is temporarily suspended
  • Box and bin deliveries are temporarily suspended
  • Garden waste weekend sites are closed
  • Street cleaning services have been altered
  • We are no longer accepting missed collection or street cleansing issue reports for recycling services. Please follow the guidance below and bear with us during these uniquely challenging times.
  • More advice on waste and recycling as well as what to do if you are self-isolatingand how street cleaning is affected.

as I am in a susceptible group being nearly 70 years old, I really do not want to go outside,

so is there anyone nearby that can help this lady out?
