I Am Only Making One Post This Morning,

as I will be on the road early,

 taking the car for its annual service, the year just seems to have flown past since we bought the car, but there it is, anyway on to today, Diana left for work in the afternoon, so I popped upstairs to play with a few photographs, the one above straight out of the camera, 

 I played with it a little to try and bring out the color of the tree trunks,

 then decided on just black and white,

 and a sepia look,

 from the same trip in Finland, mostly very grey,

  but with a tweak here and there, I added a tad of color, 

 and a few sunrays,

 into black and white,

 and a sepia look,

 next stop Edinburgh, lots of shadow, and washed out sky,

but after playing with the photograph I was quite pleased with the result,

again black and white, 

and a sepia look to the finished print, the photographs and the finished results are not to everyone's taste, but I enjoy playing with them, and it means I am not becoming a couch potato in front of the television, Diana finished at 10.00 this evening, so off to the bus stop when she telephoned me, we were back indoors at just before 11.00 so feet up for a coffee and a chat, then for us we were off to bed.
