Steve Called Round Just Before Midday,

we both had some shopping to do,

Diana was already at work, on our way out in the front garden, I noticed this,

a blackbird making what appeared to be a nest on the ground, not the safest option, considering the number of foxes and occasional cats in the area,

in someone's front garden a cherry tree putting on a good show,

we decided to start shopping from the supermarkets at the one furthest away,

walking past the church,

and the mile marker,

we both realized that neither of us had eaten breakfast, the lure of Rendez-Vous was too much,

so two English breakfasts it was then, meal finished on our way to the supermarkets we stopped at Boots and Superdrug, to buy some paracetamol, Boots were completely out, but Superdrug had a couple of packs for each of us,

we continue past The George, and called into Lidl, empty shelves everywhere, I managed to buy literally the last joint of beef for Sunday, but so many other items were not on in stock, so no milk amongst others, on to Sainsburys, the same there, and still no milk, we started back and called into Marks and Spencers, still no milk, Steve suggested the convenience store almost next door, success! 2 pints and we were on our way, as it was Friday night after my evening meal Steve called round for the evening, we chatted away until Diana called, Steve very kindly drove to the station and returned home with us, later after Steve left we watched a couple from the hilarious Mrs. Brown's Boys and with that we were off to bed.
