Yesterday The Girls Were Talking About Going For A Thai Style Bar-B-Q,

so time for Diana to try on the new dress,

and along to the Ninja restaurant on Pattaya Tai,

it is located in what was Duck Square, looking towards Pattaya Tai,
it is also known as 4471,
all of the tables have a hole like this in them,
a clay bucket with glowing charcoal is placed in it and this soup holder is placed on top, soup is then added and a piece of fat is placed on top for the food to cook in,
you then help yourself to what ever you want to cook, there is also vegetables and noodles, and this is what it looks like from above,
now here is a neat device, I have never seen one of these before, it is a "Fast Serv" although a little difficult to see in the picture there are 4 buttons, service, order, bill and cancel, if you press any of the first three a board lights up above the dining area showing your table number and a waiter arrives immediately,
still light and nearly a full moon. this is the view from where we were sitting across the car park towards Pattaya Tai, "Cheers!" from Mike and Riza, Diana and myself, the food is really on the boil now! every so often a little more soup has to be added as it boils away,
if you want any more to eat just go over and help yourself,
fresh prawns, not for the squeamish as they are still alive and have a habit of leaping off the grill!
Diana on her way back with still more food,
and grilled prawns, they look a little over done, but were in fact just right,
we were all completely full, the bill was 600 baht per couple, but that did include 3 large bottles of beer and we also elected to have the unlimited seafood buffet, well worth every penny! then it was back to 388, the fish were really pleased to see us, food for them at last,
then feet up and watch a bit of television in the background, tonight it was The Prestige, the plot is that Robert and Alfred are rival magicians, when Alfred performs the ultimate magic trick, Robert tries desperately to find out the secret to the trick, in a small role David Bowie plays Nikola Tesla, who we have much to thank for his discovery of AC electricity, as one person put it "The genius who lit the world" unlike the other electrical guy Edison, who tried to get the world dimly lit with DC current, also of note in the film is that Tesla did in fact stay at Colorado Springs, from 1899 to 1900 where he built a laboratory with a 200 kW transmitter, great film mixing fantasy with fiction and fact.
