A Few Friends Called Round Yesterday

despite the rain, first Mark then Jay and Precil, so the girls went upstairs and we sat and chatted over several cups of tea, after they left Diana was busing herself around the house and playing on the computer, so I settled down to watch a 1950's sci-fi movie This Island Earth, the Metalunan's world is ending so scientist from earth are coerced into helping save their plant, but if they succeed the Metalunan's will then invade earth, what to do?

then to Walking Street to meet up with Kirit and friends,

we all had great fun holding up the car!

it was smiles all round as we settled in for a quick one on the corner of Soi Diamond and Walking Street,

but then the rain started, it was so heavy we had to move our seats back from the road as the wind was driving the rain in and we were getting wet,

the rain then eased off a little so it was a dash for The Beach we all had a few in there, the atmosphere was great and a good time was had by all, next stop Baccara, but we could not get in, several of the staff went inside and came out again, it seems that it was so packed inside they did not have enough seats for us all, after being told to stand aside to let other customers in we decided that they did not want our custom and moved on,

next stop to Lollipop, by a stroke of luck it was not Grieg's day off, he and his staff made us more than welcome, to say we had a few was a huge understatement! by now it was getting late so a quick couple in Champions and it was time to head for home, this was certainly an evening to remember!
