it was at that time hot and sunny, so Diana decided to cool off a bit in the pool,
meanwhile I took a few pictures of some of the flowers, the heavy rain of late meant that lots of plants are now really growing well,
this plant uses coloured leaves to attract insects to its small flowers,
also in flower were the hibiscus, this one red,
Maureen also had them in white
and pink,
then some of Maureen's delicious chicken stew, followed by cheese and biscuits with beetroot and celery, ice cream for Diana! then the heavens opened up, the rain just fell down as if it was the start of the great flood! we chatted away the evening till it was time for us to leave,
then feet up for a Cirque Du Soleil, a Baroque Odyssey, this is the background story of the formation of the circus from the 'Hippie' days till now,
then another from the same troupe, this time a made for television extravaganza, Journey Of Man, featuring underwater dancers and statues that come to life amongst the list of treats, as its name suggests we follow the footsteps of a child through to adulthood, at first we were a little disappointed that it was a film, not a 'circus' act in the traditional sense, but we both said we wished it could have been twice as long as it was that wonderful to watch,
then to a very old science fiction film, The Black Hole, the star, if there is one, is a hovering robot, just a pity about the totally obvious strings! it suffered from being released after the start of Starwars, but because of that audiences could not get enough of of sci-fi movies, then off to bed.
