and the Robins Nest beckons,

we watched as we talked a kids animation DVD, Wall-E that I had just put on, basically it is a robot love story, in a distant, but not so unrealistic future, where mankind has abandoned earth because it has become covered with trash from products sold by the powerful multi-national Buy N Large corporation, WALL-E, a garbage collecting robot has been left to clean up the mess, EVE a search robot arrives on the scene well I will leave the rest to your imagination, but a great DVD which we all enjoyed, it is on two levels for want of a better description one for kids like me and one that adults will find amusing,
after they had left a old time favorite of mine, Goodbye, Mr. Chips it has been remade, but I have not gotten round to buying the remake yet, the film is about an old classics teacher looking back over his long career, remembering pupils and colleagues, and above all the idyllic courtship and marriage that transformed his life, a very bitter sweet film of those bygone days,

first from the Bond box, The World Is Not Enough, an oil tycoon is murdered in MI6 and Bond is sent to protect his daughter, Renard, who has a bullet lodged in his brain from a previous agent, is secretly planning the destruction of a pipeline, can Bond save Europe? well it is still there so I guess he did! next we watched Poirot, The King of Clubs, neither Diana or myself could work this one out, so after that it was off to bed.
