The Day Did Not Start Off Well,

as I switched my computer on I realised it was acting like a hysterical tortoise,

totally mad but at a snails pace, this message appeared, so I pressed F1 and things went from bad to worse

as this message appeared, a quick call to Wattana Computers and they should be here by 10.00 tomorrow morning to put a bit of stick about, but although not terminal I do not think it will be back till next week, tomorrow being Saturday and they close the repair department on Sundays,

so on with the day, after Diana's family had returned home and the water throwing had ceased I went over to see Slim Jim for a coffee and a chat, whilst there he gave me a couple of birthday presents, a sharks tooth necklace and a image holder necklace both with wood and bamboo beads, many thanks Jim, whilst there we chatted about the state of the world especially on the economic front, we both wondered if the malaise that is effecting both Europe and the USA will recover sooner or later,

next stop KPK Foods, I bought 6 kilos of Cumberland sausages, 10 sausages in a kilo at 250 baht,

we were also  a little low on fresh fruit, so some coconuts for Diana as well as grapes, bananas and some mango's,

limes have gone up again this week, 4 for 28 baht, I guess there must be a shortage of them as only a few weeks ago they were 4 for 12 baht,

Mark called round with a memory stick with the latest Sherlock Holmes movie on it, so we will watch that this evening, we chatted the afternoon away, all to soon it was time to go to the market,

 clear skies again this week,

opposite the bar a secondhand clothes stall had set up,

we were a little late, but there were not a lot of shoppers about,

as we were late where I have been taking a shot of the sunset did not work as the sun was behind the building,

but it was just visible in the next aisle,

we were welcomed as usual by the waitress that works in the market bar,

whilst at the bar we were joined by Brian and one of his friends Mike, then after a chat we made our way home,

then feet up for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, that Mark had brought round for us, great fun especially the fight sequence's when each protagonist is working out who will do what to whom, a thoroughly enjoyable movie, I wonder if there will be a third?

to round the evening off what better than a few episodes of Downton Abbey? by now the First World War is under way with all of the horrors that it will bring, after another 3 episodes of that it was late so we were off to bed.
