we were all up for the 06.00 in the morning mini bus,
but first it was my birthday, unknown to me Diana and her family had bought me a birthday cake, which at that time of the morning was totally unexpected,
then to the airport for their flight home,
all excited for the flight,
also a little sad in saying goodbyes, we all had a wonderful time, Diana mentioned that Mum said it was all a dream, so many things that the family thought they would never see or do,
after making sure they were checked in we started our way back to the mini van,
stopping at one of the floral displays,
there were so many orchids to see, it makes me ashamed to think of the display that world travellers see when they land at the building site known as Heathrow airport in the UK,
the orchids, so nice,
there was also a display set up for this years celebration,
of the Songkran Festival,
as we made our way back to Pattaya we past many trucks coming from Bangkok to join in the fun,
it must have been cold being soaking wet in the wind, but the party goers did not seem to mind,
we decided on a shared starter of chicken pate with brown bread and salad, by the way Mike many thanks for the shirt, it looks really nice,
the pate was a huge starter even for two of us,
I then went with the Saturday night special, beef curry, as I was driving I allowed myself one medicinal glass of wine,
us with all of the trimmings,
half a rack of ribs for Diana,
my meal came complete with poppadoms, fresh nam bread and a few dips and onions,
Diana's meal came with salad and home made hand cut chips,
'Cheers!', it may have been two glasses of wine,
it may not look a lot but I could not eat it all,
Diana was amazed at how finger licking good the ribs were,
she enjoyed them so much,
there was not a scrap of meat left on them,
ah heaven, just a shame it is the last one,
then into the truck for the drive home,
