Darlington council workmen in County Durham,
spelt the words 'bus stop' correctly when they painted the sign on the newly resurfaced Ingleby Moor Crescent road in the Firthmoor estate, apparently the road was in a bad state of repair, but now the bad news, bus services were redirected to a different part of the estate in 2008 – missing out Ingleby Moor Crescent completely, so a bus stop with no buses, the council admitted the lines had been repainted by mistake,
still it could have been worse, they could have repeated last February's mistake when Durham County Council revealed it had spent £5,000 on a bus shelter near the Salutation pub, in Framwellgate Moor, Durham City, only to discover that it was not on a bus route, at least the bus stop in Ingleby Moor Crescent did not have a bus shelter as well!
