of course time has passed very quickly this week with Diana's family over here,
on the way out to lunch I noticed one of the plants in a pot decided to flower,
it looks almost like a star burst that you see at a fireworks display,
as there were still lots of people throwing water about again we decided on the Punch & Judy for our meal,
where we were joined by Mr. Tony,
we were lucky to find a table, I think many people had decided to find some where to eat that did not involve a long walk from their car and risk getting a soaking,
cottage pie with cheese for Mr. Tony,
Diana enjoyed the ribs so much yesterday she ordered them again,
instead of my usual roast today I decided on a steak and beer pie with home made chips,
Diana tucked into her dinner straight away,
as she said after wards, delicious! we then made our way back to 388 and watched some satellite television, in the evening a new 2 hour programme about the Titanic that had been advertised for the past few weeks was on, so I settled down to watch it, testing the rivets and steel it was stated that for the time when the ship was built in 1910 the rivets and steel was the best that was available, the very next 2 hour special on the Titanic then said the rivets and steel were substandard! which team of experts to believe? there then followed another Titanic special,
anyway after 6 hours of Titanic it was all to much for me, so we were off to bed!
