Out Early,

into a grey windswept day,

saying it was windy was a bit of an understatement, it was blowing a gale,

I made my way to Beckenham Green, which was the site of so much devastation by V1 rockets in WWII, and since the buildings on the site of the hit were levelled it has been kept as a green space,

looking towards St, Georges church from the green, into the surgery, blood taken by the nurse and I was on my way to the bank to pay the balance of the loft ladder installation,

I made my way past the cinema and to the hardware store to buy a couple of brushes, and to the chemist to buy some masks,

 for us we were upstairs,

 removing pigeon poo,

 and tidying up,

in the next few weeks hopefully an electrician will be arriving to install our living room lights, Robbie has said he will pop in to cut away and clear all of the pipework that is no longer used from the floor and Len will hopefully call in on Monday to give us a quotation to remove all of the junk up here,

parts of the floor looking a little better,

and even given a thumbs up from Diana,

the watertank will go as it is no longer used, as well as the pile of bits and bags on the left, so tomorrow upstairs again for the rest of the poo and then a good hover up for the dust, after our evening meal we watched a few shows featuring antiques, and one from the Poirot box we had not watched before,

Elephants Can Remember, and with the end of that we were off to bed.
