The Day Started Out With Great News,

and got better as the day continued,

firstly a walk into town to receive the results of my latest blood and urine test, to see if I was not have a bad reaction to the new medication, results back and I was fine, also I had been monitoring blood pressure with a tester I had bought last month, so twice a day for the past week I noted the readings, and the doctor was very pleased with the results, so all I have to do now is pop back in 4 months time for a check up to see that all is still going well,

the news was as good when I returned home, Len had arrived as promised and in no time our art deco mirror was in place over the mantle piece,

we had bought the mirror some time ago, it typically had two peach colored rays in it,

so when we spotted this peach colored table, with both top and bottom shelves in peach we just had to but it from Anne's Art Deco, to match the mirror, next Len fitted brackets to Diana's dressing table mirror,

and then to the bathroom, the main reason we called Len in was that with the absence of any tools like drills etc, and I did not relish the thought of cracking a bathroom tile whilst drilling the holes for the shelves, we asked a professional to do the job, so 4 shelves put up above the sink,

plus 2 more in the shower, so 6 shelves, 2 holes to be drilled for each shelf, 12 holes drilled in all and not a cracked tile in sight!

as we have high ceilings, we decided on a pulley system with a hanging clothes dryer for the bathroom,

basically you lower the dryer and load it with clothes,

then pull the rack up above head height, if you have high ceilings as we have, this is the company we bought out system from, PulleyMaid, a UK company in Shrewsbury, Len did a great job, the ones above are the major ones but there we lots of other smaller jobs that needed doing, so we now also have a clothes hanger in the hall and a towel shelf over the radiator in the bathroom, 'have drill-will travel' would be a good motto for Len, rather like Paladin in Have Gun-Will Travel, after saying our farewells to Len and our evening meal, it was feet up for a couple of antiques and quiz shows, we then watched a documentary about Pocahontas on the Smithsonian channel, a couple of Murdoch Mysteries and we were then off to bed.
