photographs by Kenta Hasegawa courtesy Suppose Design Office, just a 10 minute walk from Shibuya station,

you will see a glass dome-shaped building,

it is the Shibuya City Botanical Garden, Japan’s smallest indoor arboretum,

on the 1st floor citrus fruits like satsuma mandarin oranges, yuzu, lemons, and finger limes are grown,

on the 2nd floor you will find a small library and café that overlooks the garden, occasionally you might find a film screening or event taking place in the 3rd floor gallery space, if you plan to call in, it might be an idea to look at their website or Instagram account to plan your visit, admission is 100 yen, at today’s rate 53 pence or 68 cents.
