but it was all in vain, the notice on the door said 'Closed on Sundays' D'Oh!
so it was off to Cherry's on Third Road, we were given a complimentary starter of spring rolls, then for her starter Diana had baked salmon,
for me huge green mussels with a spicy sauce and garlic bread,
rib eye steak and mashed potatoes for Diana,
"Cheers!" from both of us,
then for desert a banana split, all in all a lovely meal, the total including a 200 baht corkage fee and a couple of vodka sodas was 1,650 baht, but next time I will try to remember that The Pagoda is closed on Sundays!
during the day we watched Gladiator, a good all action movie, another couple of episodes of Judge John Deed,
then Diana asked to watch some more of It Ain't Half Hot Mum, so we started the second series, then still feeling full it was off to bed.
