but a few friends called round,
I am not sure if I helped or hindered in his choice of destination, but Cebu seems to be that choice,
then it was a treat for Diana, no not the underground car park!
it was McDonald's above it, Diana has to have a mac every few weeks or so,
and I enjoyed mine as well,
it was then a look around the mall, as we went in Diana was intrigued by this statue, was it a person or an autonomous robot?
well we had a look around all of the remarkably quite shops in the mall but at the other end of it a second statue, by now Diana who thought it was not a person was now having second doubts, especially as when we walked back the first one had disappeared, I said he had gone for a tea break! but great makeup/slow motion action,
then off to Friendship for some shopping,we do not normally go this late so this is the first time we have seen the shrine lit at night, then Mick and Mass called round, as they were getting ready to make a trip to see Mass's family, so we just happened to have on,
It Ain't Half Hot Mum, from 1973/4, for me the two stars are Windsor Davies, who once said the series saved him from the life of becoming a serious actor, he plays the part of a BSM (Battalion Sargent Major), and Don Estelle, who plays the part of Lofty, so named as he is the shortest in the troop, and is blessed with a magical singing voice, in an unlikely duet both actors combine to sing Whispering Grass, I am listen to it now, which did in fact get into the UK charts, both Diana and myself enjoyed the first series immensely despite its age, so we are looking forward to the next, then time for bed.
