As A Kid I Used To Play Bingo,
millions still do today in social clubs,
I still remember some of the calls, 'legs eleven' (11), or two fat ladies (88), but alas although not a single complaint has been made the PC (Politically Correct) brigade, who obviously have too much time on their hands, has stepped in, ex-mayor John Sayers, 75, was ordered by Sudbury Council, Suffolk, to drop the term 'two fat ladies' from his weekly town hall sessions, because it might upset overweight players, the PC brigade seem to be seeing problems where none exist, well I can see where a few job cuts could be made in Sudbury Council if some one wants to save some money,
Chrissie Maher, founder of the Plain English Campaign, said: "It shouldn't be necessary to mess about with parts of our heritage like bingo slang."
so here we go then, 'eyes down, look in, two generously proportioned people of either gender 88!'
