or perhaps you want to buy a secondhand camera,
a car has a odometer to show how much it has or has not been used, but what about a camera? how many times has the shutter been put to work? well there is a small but effective program to find out, just go to the web site,
and this what you will see, take a photograph with the camera, then without doing any work to it, (photoshop et al), drag it into the drag box,
and Hey Presto! this is what you will see, the picture above taken in our living room this morning, was the 899th that I had taken with our new Sony A7 since we bought it 14 days ago, this program works with both Sony and Panasonic Lumix products, I am guessing it will work with most cameras, the good news is that you do not have to download anything, just go to http://tools.science.si/, and drag your most recent photograph into it, if this does not work for your camera, click camera shutter/image counter and you will see a number of similar programs to choose from.
