yes Braintree police in Massachusetts really did use,
the phrase, 'hot as soccer balls', when it pleaded with criminals not to commit any crimes as it was way too hot! the
force made its plea with the public
on Facebook to keep a lid on things until cooler weather
returns, because it's just too hot to fight crime, CNN had to confirm the story so I am guessing with the
criminals taking a few days off things will be pretty hectic when they return to ‘work’ after
the heatwave.
