First Thing In The Morning,

along to the bus stop,

Diana was on early shift today,

so I spent the day catching up with the blog, and feeding the crow,

I also popped down to Kingfisheries for some RO water,

in the late afternoon we had a cunning plan, with London going into tier 3 lockdown we had to pick up Diana's Christmas present, so we arrange to meet on the train to Victoria,

all was going well until the bus from Diana's work had to take a detour, so she missed the train I was waiting for further along the track, I caught it anyway,

and waited at Victoria,

and here she is,

down the tube to Green Park,

and a walk,

we were going to New Bond Street,

admiring the Christmas lights on the way,

and here we are,

joining the queue of about 30 people waiting to get inside of Louis Vuitton,

it seems strange queueing to get into a store but the same was happening on the other side of the road at Chanel, people like us trying to buy a Christmas present before the lockdown,

whilst in the queue as we moved towards the entrance,

I took a few photographs of the window displays,

if you have to ask how much, do not make an appointment! this like many other stores in the area is shopping by appointment only,

nearly there as we drew almost opposite the Dior store,

not many to go now,

and we were in,

we had a personal assistant,

and off he went to collect Diana's present,

whilst waiting Diana took a selfie,

and here it is,

Happy Christmas Diana!

exit one very happy Diana,

next stop,

China Town,

we were both hungry,

a look around the restaurants,

and we decided on this one, the Lotus Garden,

Diana had to have a sip of calibration wine,

we started with prawn crackers,

to go with crab and sweetcorn soup,

for our starters we chose spareribs in a spicy salt covering,

and one other dish,

shredded spicy chicken,

on to our main courses, king prawns with cashew nuts,

'Cheers!',

we also had beansprouts,

and the dish we both enjoy so much, Cantonese duck,

another 'Cheers!',

what a feast, as it happens we were going to pick up the bag tomorrow and have a meal at Claridges, but we had a email to say that they will be closed due to the lockdown, hence us being a day early,

the meal came to £114.00 including service charge, we will be back, when ever the government allow us to!

another quick pose,

and then it happened, I did not know I was being followed,

'allo allo what's going on here then?' it was a Merry Christmas from the beats finest,

we made our way through China Town looking at some of the shops,

next the tube, well two in fact,

next on to the train to Beckenham,

the bag had to have seats for itself,

past the Foxgrove Lodge,

and here we are home,

a bit big to put under the tree,

and I think someone wants a chance to use it before Christmas! what a great day out, after all of that it was feet up for an Inspector Frost, a New Tricks and we were off to bed.
