I Have Always Believed That Global Warming Is A Natural Event,
well 53 million years ago the Arctic had temperatures as high as 70 degrees Fahrenheit,
if CU-Boulder Assistant Professor Jaelyn Eberle is to be believed, the Arctic Circle 53 million years ago endured six months of darkness each year in a far milder climate than today that featured lush, swampy forests, according to a new study led by the University of Colorado at Boulder, the year-round presence of mammals such as the hippo-like Coryphodon, tapirs and brontotheres in the high Arctic was a "behavioral prerequisite" for their eventual dispersal across high-latitude land bridges that geologists believe linked Asia and Europe with North America, Eberle said,
then along came caveman Ugh and his fire, the oil companies and cars and then the earth warmed up, no wait, it was warm already! I know, then we came along and the earth cooled down! but look at the bright side with the earth warming the mammals can retake their heritage, the Arctic!

Just remember that back then, the continents formed Pangea and basically about 80% of the land was uninhabitable desert.
Dear Jil, that is that point I was making, the earth warming and cooling is a natural, not man made cycle, the effect that we have is miniscule when you look at what nature itself can do in the blink of an eye, think Krakatau, Indonesia (1883) and the effects that had on the rest of the world, best regards, Stan and Diana.
