he turned up on one of those hardly dangerous machines he has, it is a funny thing, so many guys spend fortunes on these things, then run out of money at the end and can not pay for a quite exhaust system!
but the good news is look under the bike, no oil!
these springer front forks always remind me of several old bikes I used to own in the UK, notably a "B" series H.R.D. but as this is a long post I will do one about it in the future,
caught in the act, now I know what sheep go through! (please do not mention the rubber wellies!),
all done and smart for the month, the stitches come out in 10 days,
then off to the fruit stalls,
we detoured along Walking Street, and found Dang in his bar, so we settled down there for a couple of drinks,
yesterday the chairs were in the street, but today most of the new tiles are in place, so it is seats as normal,
owner Dang, as happy as ever, we have been friends for some 20 years or so,
Walking Street looks totally different in the day time, at times the street is blocked with trucks and vans unloading beer, spirits and ice,
Diana bought 4 shirts to take back to the Philippines with her for her family,
looking towards Sisterz, vans and piles of stuff everywhere,
more beer!
World Tour disco - gone! Dang was saying he has never seen Pattaya so quite,
next to it, just opposite Soi Diamond Republica Discotk - gone, but I have heard new owners/management may open it up again soon, but wait, who is that in the reflection of the glass door?
a furtive Tom from Sisterz on a mission, I would tell you what it was, but then I could no longer be held responsible for your safety! as an aside I was once told this by a guy in a bar after I told him I sold tropical fish and asked what he did for a living, no not a gay bar! our girls were chatting so I was chatting to him, phew! I did not want to get into the s**t on that one!
one of the ladies from Dang's takes the picture of us,
after we arrived back the heavens opened up again, the rain just did not stop, and we were hungry waiting to go to the soup stalls,
at last it stopped, pools of water everywhere,
no one sitting out eating,
although difficult to see, it was so cold there was clouds of condensation rising from the soup,
if you look behind the buildings and clouds you can see how bright the sky should have been,
later Mike and Riza then Mark and Anchisa called round, Mike said in Soi Siam the water was a foot or more deep with water coming up through some of the drains,
Mark and Mike relax we settled down and watched a HD movie of The Island, great special effects in the car chase, as I have frequently mentioned there are so few people in town, well to make sure it is even less crowded overland visa's have now been reduced from 30 to 14 days, but I now know why, it is to keep better, high quality tourist here! yea right! if there is no rain tomorrow off to Soi Bukoaw for a bit of shopping and an ice coffee.
