the custard apples Diana likes so much have gone from a high of 70 to 40 baht a kilo,
first to arrive were Jay and Precil and Tom,
followed by Mike and Riza,
whilst we were upstairs putting the world to rights the girls downstairs were getting ready for a cooking fest, Riza, Diana, Precil and Fe,
a soon proud to be dad, Geoff, any day now,
the food is served, Big Jim brought along a delicious home made pork and lentil stew, it was so good I had 2 helpings!
Steve also arrived, with stories of his travels for 10 years in the Middle East,
and Big Jim, as always his usual jovial self, he has now just run out of his lollipops, the girls in town will be so sad!
as I was seeing guests out I noticed the bang box outside my house had a bright red glow coming from one of the breakers, the reason I call it the bang box is that every year or so there is a huge bang, flash and then the lights go out! last time was about I guess, 3 months ago so we are not due another one for some time, but, the red hot glowing metal does look a bit of a worry, so a call to the electric company Monday, naturally they will call round in the day time and see nothing, so wait for the bang!
