Could This Be The One To Do It?
keeping on the car front a British team is going for the 1,000 MPH car,
Richard Noble is behind the hunt for money to fund the project, the idea first put forward by Lord Drayson, British Minster of Science, Nobles last venture into land speed records resulted in breaking the sound barrier with a recorded speed of 763,065 MPH, driven by Royal Air Force Wing Commander Andy Green, to see progress on the project there are more pictures here, there still is of course the thorny subject of funds, has anybody got a spare $16 million sloshing around they want to invest? British and Proud of it!
