instead of having still photographs in a newspaper, in the Harry Potter movies the pictures move like video, well in a special edition of the American magazine Entertainment Weekly there is slim-line screen, only 0.1inch thick, with built-in speakers, it holds 25 minutes of video including an advert for Pepsi Max and trailers for the US TV network CBS, which activate in a similar way to a musical greeting card, the screens are about the size of a mobile phone display with a 320x240 resolution and can hold up to 40minutes of video, they rely on technology similar to that used by LCD TVs, the computer chips have rechargeable batteries using a mini USB cord, which slots into a jack on the back of it, this means that users can also load their own videos onto the screen and use it repeatedly, they were manufactured by Americhip - a Los Angeles-based company that bills itself as the 'leader in multi-sensory marketing, the downside is that industry experts put the price at around £13 per magazine, but I guess this will come down as this includes the cost of development, as we all know the first of almost any new product is going to be high,
now like the Harry Potter movie when can we have the flying broomsticks!
