Jay and Percil also called in to say Hi,
as did Mark,
we, that is Mick, Jay and myself were going out for a 'boys night out', so the girls started cooking their food before we left,
for us it was down to Walking Street for steak and chips,
it does not look so good in the picture, but the street lights are almost works of art in their own right, notice the new seafood restaurant Sea Zone,
first port of call was the beer garden on the sea front at the beginning of Walking Street, but not a lot happening there,
past the new Simon beer bar complex, the good news is that all of the bars share the same sound system, the bad news is that there were no customers,
so we stopped off at the airport, no happy hour, 130 baht for a vodka soda, we only had 1 in there, the music, if you call it that was way to loud,
then to the windmill in Soi Diamond, 50 baht a shot, so we had several!
whilst there we bumped into 2 of Micks friends, Jay and Craig, we see them every year out here, so it was then upstairs for more than a few more at Heavens Above, buy 1 get 1 free, again 50 baht a vodka soda,
by now we were getting into the swing of things, so into see Paul in Sisterz, mercifully the music was at a reasonable level compared to the last time we were here, again still happy hour V&S 55 baht,
we then strolled or in my case staggered up Soi 14, past the food stalls and restaurants along it on our quest for another bar,
we found one, Misty's, but I can not remember if we went inside,
but I do remember going in to Baby Dolls, and very nice it was to! then it was off to see Juu in Champions, the drinks were by now flowing more than freely, I decided that it was now time for me to make a move for the hills and let the young bloods loose!
a very quite Soi Marine Plaza,
in both directions,
then we watched The Cell, stunning photography, vibrant colours and a chilling look into a killers mind, a 'must see' movie if you have not seen it,
