great fun for the people on the trucks,
and inside them!
but within almost a few seconds beach road was brought to a complete standstill,
and Third Road was then completely blocked with the parade and the traffic generated by Soi Bukaow market,
but luckily it cleared after that, but what a shame, insurance out here is a must have, I just hope a few people out here on the "it won't happen to me" mindset go out and buy some,
then into the Soi Bukaow market, like the last time a bit quite,
no one buying fish today,
or toys, not even toy trains!
the food stalls usually do a roaring trade, considering it is midday even they are quite,
but on to the flowers, a nice selection if you have a garden,
I have seen lots of these before, but I do not know the name of them,
Diana back from a successful shopping trip, we went to a different cafe today, the one on the corner we usually go to was closed, hopefully not a sign of the times,
my soldered fingers have had a couple of days to recover so it is out with the soldering iron again, they say that pain is character forming - no it isn't!
inner electric track finished, outer just started,
going round the bend,
starting on the points,
then home to eat sushi and have a few coffees, whilst eating and drinking I put on the first of Fred Dibnah's 3 DVD's series of Railway Collections, if you are into steam and trains this is compelling viewing, so much so Mike and Riza left at 2.30 in the morning! also have a look at some of the links on this wikipedia web page particularly Timothy Hackworth, one of steams first pioneers and early unsung hero's.
