as it will be difficult to get to the soldered joints once the points are fitted, I went a bit over board with the solder as I did not want to get any "dry joints"
points wired up and fitted, so now on to the next track,
sidings or marshaling yard, the white bits are where the glue has not quite dried,
then a bite to eat, Mark very kindly brought a couple of pies round from a new bakeries he has found and delicious they were to, I will call round with him to the shop in couple of days to pick a few up,
we then watched another Ultimate Crimes, this one number 12, A Question Of Doubt, from the inspiration of "The Fugitive" Dr. Sam Sheapard, to James Hanratty,
just as that was finishing Mike and Riza called round, so it was out with volume two of Fred Dibnah's World of Steam and Steel, featured in the first couple of episodes was Fred's road going traction engine, evidently he bought it for £160, a total wreck, over the next 30 years and 2 divorces he brought it back to it's former glory, it looked great! if you want to see it and a bit about it and Fred go here.
