we had already stopped by Friendship for the bread and garlic butter,
there were also fresh crabs but as there were only going to be a few of us today we did not buy any,
our kilo being wrapped up,
they was also lots of shellfish, cockles, mussells, etc,
Diana wanted to buy a few other bits and pieces from the market, but it was so early it had not set up yet,
"Oh Dear, how sad, never mind!"
now the boring bit, on to the trains, having glued the underlay I am now gluing and pinning the track to it,
nearly done, notice that on the inner curve the track is longer as it has less distance to go,
both inner tracks now finished,
the fuzzy pin in the foreground is left in place so I can make sure that I have not glued the working of the points, it will be clipped off when the track is finished,
a view along the table, next week I will start work on the two outer tracks,
then Mr. Tony,
and Big Jim,
Diana and Precil made a huge effort in preparing the food,
marinated spare ribs, chicken breasts from Jay and Precil, a most delicious potato and egg salad made by Big Jim and Diana 's bacon wrapped prawns, which were a great success, but a word of caution, to hold the bacon on the shrimp whilst it is being cooked a wooden tooth pick is used, this is taken out after the bacon has cooked, unfortunately some times a piece is forgotten so you bite down on a toothpick, sorry about that Mr. Tony!
then it was time to go, Booie called in to pick up Mr. Tony, she did not call in as she is not well, get better soon!
