then Mick is into the first fish of the day, to small to eat so back it went,
Maureen and Nick were also here,
but for now the fishing takes second place,
then Nick is into one,
a nice sized tasty tilipia, this one is defiantly for the pot,
it is all to much for Mass's mum, Mr. Sleep paid a visit,
but then another snack arrived,
Ta-Taa sitting in the shade next to Nick,
after lunch the girls had some ice cold melon, for Mick and myself Maureen had made some chicken and stuffing sandwiches, delicious,
then I am into a big one, alas it got away,
then Mick into another one,
this one a nice sized carp,
and another for Nick,
a plah isut, to give it it's Thai name, but back it went, this fish has to many bones,
and then me into another rod bender, it too got away, you may by now be noticing a trend, Nick and Mick are landing fish, mine are getting away, well for all of us a great day out, but no fish for me, ah well better luck next time!
a final bite to eat and off we go, for Mick and the family a Thai style bar-b-q, for us a fry up, Diana cooked some of the sausages we bought from Jimbo's, eggs, bacon and chips, then feet up to watch a couple of DVD's,
first up was the HD DVD of Return To The House On Haunted Hill, I have seen the previous two offerings the first one released in 1959 with Vincent Price, the second released in 1999 and now the third, this one, was as far as I am concerned not as good as either of it's predecessors, but it still made Diana jump in a few places, so it could not be all bad!
we then watched the conclusion of The Tudors, what a series! totally compelling and played so well by all concerned, in the final episodes Henry courts Jane Seymour, for the Boylen's this is not good news, Cromwell gathers evidence of Anne's indiscretions, the inevitable happens, Anne is executed whilst Henry has a Royal breakfast with Jane, it is here the second series ends, we are so looking forward to seeing the third series,
then in another change of pace another HD disc this one The Fugitive, good gripping story, it has been a long time since I saw the original, back in 1963 in black and white, it was shown as a series, and a long one to, with 4 seasons, each season had 30 episodes, 120 in all, no wonder some called it the story that never ends! by now it was about 2.30 in the morning so a cup of tea, then off to bed.
