After Finishing The Post,

we were off,

 as it was Sunday for our lunch out, this week to the Robin's Nest, it is situated on Soi Diana Inn between Soi Bukaow and LK Metro,

 as always a full compliment of vegetables,

 and cuts of beef, pork and gammon ham, also pieces of chicken, sausages rolled in bacon with fried onions, Yorkshire puddings and stuffing making our Sunday lunch complete,

 not to mention the well stocked bar which not only has apple cider but for those of us that miss the taste of old England pear cider as well,

 the lady carving the food always happy to see us as are the rest of the staff,

 we decided not to go for the included soup in the bargain 3 course lunch at only 249 baht each, but straight on with the main course, the carvery,

 but I did have my medicinal red wine,

 followed by the included ice cream,

 and as I have mentioned before,

 one of the most delicious latte coffees in Pattaya,

 we finished our meal full to bursting, as a guide this is the view outside the Robin's Nest, looking towards Second Road,

 on the corner of Soi Diana Inn and Soi Bukaow there are normally a few mobile food carts,

 after our meal we made a move for home where we were joined by Mike and Riza for the evening,

we watched Bird & Fortune, it is the ultimate satire show, so many of the subjects that are talked about have come back to haunt us such as our decision to build a couple of aircraft carriers, by now it was late so we said our goodbyes to all of our guests,


but before we retire to bed it is time to fess up, the mobile phone was of course an April Fools Day Prank, hence the name of the phone company AFDP, the model number 1-04, the 1st of April, but the CIA Surveillance cat listening device really was made to eavesdrop on conversations made by Russian agents in the USA,

the experiment was thought to have cost up wards of $9 million, unfortunately it did all end in tears, the cat decided to cross the road, not trained in how to cross the road the last thing the cats human operator heard through his headphones was the screeching of rubber on tarmac getting louder and louder as the taxi failed to stop and ran over the cat, the project was abandoned, Happy April Fools Day! so with that we were off to bed.
