so we were off to buy some more,
on the way out we noticed that some of the hibiscus had flowered,
this one was huge some five or six inches across,
although slightly smaller this is a double flower,
shopping over then home we went,
a little later Phil called to ask if I fancied joining him for a drink in the afternoon at the Punch and Judy, so naturally I said yes and spent some time there,
after our evening meal we settled down to watch a couple of episodes from the Monocled Mutineer, although a matter of some debate as to the accuracy of the mutiny in Etaples training camp in France in 1917, this television series first shown in 1986 follows the exploits of one man and his involvement in it, so far an enjoyable and thought-provoking series, we are both looking forward to seeing what happens in future episodes,
and then for something completely different, we watched the first of the series Farscape, astronaut John Crichton, on an experimental space mission, is accidentally hurled across the universe into the midst of an intergalactic conflict, it is like a crossed between Star Wars and Star Trek, after watching the first episode we were both not quite sure if we were going to enjoy the second but we'll give it a try over the next few evenings,
to round off our evening some more of Silent Witness, as it was quite early we watched two complete episodes, firstly Death's Door, followed by Terror, both were believable and we enjoyed watching them, but by now it was late and has we have an early start tomorrow we were off to bed.
