it appears that the sight of red ink on their work from their teacher would upset them!
that is what a shocked teacher at the unnamed school in Harrow, North London, told her MP Bob Blackman about the head’s ruling, Mr Blackman said: 'it is all about not wanting to discourage youngsters if their work is wrong, it is political correctness gone wild, children need to understand the difference between what’s right and what’s wrong',
in these politically correct times I guess other schools will soon follow suit, but who takes the responsibility for this new edict? the Department for Education distanced itself from this new ruling, schools minister Liz Truss said: 'the department does not issue guidelines which prohibit the use of red ink', Harrow Council also denied responsibility, children’s director Catherine Doran said: 'these policies are decided by head teachers', so what is the name of this ground breaking headmaster, no one knows or if they do they are not telling tales.
