an original 1961 'Flat Floor' E-Type Roadster,
the decaying motor was only the 59th E-Type to be built, it was bought by its current owner, a naval architect in Bath in 1965, but due to spiralling running costs it was put into the barn and locked up where it has stayed since 1983, it has around 65,000 miles on the clock and still has its original 3.8-litre engine, if you fancy this bit of British motoring history it is for auction at the Bonhams Motorcar Department auction at the RAF Museum in Hendon on Monday 29th April,
remember to bring a cheque book with you, a guide price to this almost unique find is between £25,000 to £30,000, also as a guide to refurbish the car and bring it back to its former glory remember to write a cheque for another £50,000, would I like it? You bet!
