Sunday!

so we were off,

 for our Sunday lunch,

and for this week chose The George restaurant and bar, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

where we all went for the three course Sunday roast option, which was 350 baht each,

Diana's father went for the soup of the day, tomato, Mr. Tony with the pate,

whilst the rest of us opted for the Caesar salad,

on to our main courses, the hard working ever smiling George carving the roasts,

 next Mum,

 then Cher,

 followed by Dad,

then eyes down and tuck in,

well a quick 'Cheers', from me,

a smile form all of us,

 onto the desserts,

 which looked like this,

 vanilla,

 chocolate,

 chocolate and vanilla for Cher,

  vanilla again for Dad,

 the same for Diana,

 and strawberry for Jim,

and a final photograph with George, we said our farewells and made our way home using a Grab taxi, then it was feet up for our usual Sunday evening, a few movies,

firstly a comedy Dudley Do-Right, funny on so many levels,

then in a much more sinister theme, Ravenous, set in the early pioneer days of the west, a stranger who has spent three months lost in the mountains arrives at the fort, the stranger, played superbly well by Robert Carlyle steals the show, which descends into murder and cannibalism, as the fort they are staying and the subsequent march has a viper in it's party, also worth a mention is the great atmospheric music that played in the movie,

by Damon Albarn (of British band Blur) and Michael Nyman, and with that chiller we were off to bed.
