I Am Only Making One Post Today,

for 2 reasons,

firstly unusually for me I have gone down with the most appalling cold, runny nose, sore throat, fever and a terrible headache, worse still I spent what felt like the whole night blowing my nose and alternately feeling boiling hot then freezing cold, I know I must be ill because I slept in till 06.30, the second reason is that I have to go to immigration to put in Diana's and her Mum and Dads TM 30 forms which must be filled out within 24 hours of them arriving back from being away from home, so I will be at the immigration center at 08.30 when they open and spend the rest of the morning there,

so for today I will post a few pictures of their trips to Phuket, Chang Mai, Chang Rai, Hua Hin and Bangkok,

 it was all great fun,

 and a surprise,

 when boarding the aeroplane,

Diana had told her Mum and Dad,

 they were flying to Bangkok,

but they put down in Phuket,

for the start of their adventure,

 the beaches and sea clean,

with lots of things to see,

and have time to relax on the beach,

 and enjoy meals,

 in the evening,

 the next day,

 site seeing,

and a quick picture of the hotel at Hua Hin,

 then on the boat,

 to visit Phraya Nakhon Cave,

 famous for it's pavilion,

 the sign says it all,

 and the nearby beach,

 next stop Bangkok,

 for a visit,

  to the Royal Palace,

there are so many photo opportunities there,

 Mum strikes the pose,

 it is a photographers paradise,

 the palace itself,

next a long tail boat tour along the Chao Phraya river, but first going through the narrow canals,

looking at the sites on the way,

as other boats made their way along the canals,

their boat speed along the narrow waterways,

 then into the main river,

two small boats going to market as spray flashes past,

the Pavilion of the Royal Barges,

 another boat speeds past,

 as the pace slows,

as they enter the floating market,

 and start shopping,

 in the evening,

 another boat trip,

 a dinner cruise,

with a live traditional Thai band,

 and dancing,

 all of the time passing,

famous landmarks that front onto the river,

in the distance the Bangkok eye,

and this is the boat that they were in,

 next day,

 Ayutthaya,

 with its huge reclining Buddha,

 and ancient ruins,

Mum and Dad pose for a picture in front of,

 this Buddhas head,

that the tree is slowly growing over,

as they made their way through the temples,

 they found this attraction,

 turtles,
or as we would call them in the UK, terrapins, eating bananas from Mums hand,

finally the view from their hotel in Bangkok,

and after their adventure, they were home.
