Mr. Tony joined us for lunch, he had the carvery Sunday lunch, beef curry for myself,
whilst Diana had some Thai food,
looking towards the Robin's Nest,
then it was back to 388 for a after dinner drink or two,
we talked the night away, telling each of jokes like this one, a guy walks into the reception of a hotel and books a room, the receptionist asks 'do you have a good memory for faces?', the guest answers 'yes, why?' the receptionist replies, 'good because there is no mirror in your room!' boom-boom! and that was one of the better jokes! then it was time for Mr. Tony to make his way home,
then feet up for The Simpsons: Around the World in 80 D'Ohs! there were 4 highly amusing episodes, we have not watched a Simpson in a long time,
keeping to the animation theme it was then Wallace and Gromit starring in 'A Matter of Loaf and Death' great fun as indeed all of their other movies have been, Wallace and Gromit have a brand new business, they have turned their house in to a bakery, although business is booming, Gromit is concerned by the news that 12 local bakers have 'disappeared' this year - but Wallace isn't worried, he is in love, with local beauty and bread enthusiast, Piella Bakewell, but all is not what it seems,
we finally watched Broken Arrow, a sort of 'I will blow up nuclear bomb or give me the money' type of thing, but again the film suffered from a creditability gap, having shot 6 bullets from his revolver he reloads and now shown to be clearly down to his last three, as his closes the chamber and aims he fires a full 6 rounds to down the helicopter, apart from that some good stunt work under the train, but not a see again type of thing, then off to bed.
