Where Does All The Money Go?

it did not seem that long ago that I went to my Bank,
but when I looked at the last withdrawal it was a month ago, almost to the day,
so with pockets full of cash we went to the market, not a good idea I know but this was a small night market where just three or four stalls are open in the day time,
as you can see the place is almost empty,
I often see these dragon fruits for sale, looking strange they would die out if it were not for bats! this cactus, (yes it is the fruit of a cactus), needs bats, OK sometimes moths to pollinate it, bats sounds better though! I have tried it a few times but it seems pretty bland compared to some of the other fruits out here, although I have read that people who have high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity have found it to help in these areas, for a more detailed study look no further than Misrahi and Nerd's 'Climbing and Columnar Cacti: New Arid Land Fruit Crop'
we also bought some of the more familiar mango's,
as well as some of those small sweet oranges that come from China and a few apples,
one of my favorite Japanese plums, I really will have to find out what they are called, and some Papaya poc-poc for Diana,
the action side of the poc-poc stall,
a quick look along the now empty stalls,
then home in time for Jay and Percil to call round,
Jay and myself had more than a few hands of cribbage, then time for Diana to make our evening meal, New Zealand mussells in garlic butter for starters followed by bangers and mash with onion gravy, diet starts next week!
followed by some fresh fruit!
then feet up for A Touch of Frost, we watched two episodes, A Minority of One, while Frost is investigating a series of burglaries in a black area of Denton, one of his informants, a single mother, is murdered, followed by Widows and Orphans, DI Jack Frost investigates a series of burglaries directed against old age pensioners, the case takes a nasty turn when another elderly victim is found dead, the good news is that we both worked out who did the dastardly deeds, well I sort of got it right, but Diana was spot on!
to round of the evening Tales, this one entitled, The Mugger, a local politician is walking across the park at night when a stranger bumps into him he mistakenly gives chase after thinking he has been mugged, with disastrous results, then off to bed.
