'Cheers!' from me!
when we had said goodbye to Juu and his wife we made our way home, Diana still wants one of these pink electric tricycles, the little lady above was riding around the small car park,
then came an 'oop's' moment!
before our evening meal of beef stew and dumplings Diana wanted to see the earrings I had bought, so here they are,
after the stew Diana surprised me with a fresh fruit dessert, delicious!
Diana preferred this mango based dish from the market, then feet up to watch a few DVD's,
first from the box Christmas Vacation, a real treat for us so many gags and one liners, things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen and their two kids, Christmas is no exception,
then a real change of characters with The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Priscilla being the bus, two drag-queens and a transsexual contract to perform a drag show at a resort in Alice Springs, so many jokes especially the long running 'Ralph' great DVD, think Malibu bar in Soi Post Office,
now this one is defiantly a bit different, what a complete waste of time, I know I am in the minority as it was awarded so many gongs, but after an hour or so I was convinced it would get better but it certainly did not, at the end Diana said, 'what did we watch that for?' it is about Warren Schmidt, an insurance salesman, whose life crashes down on him when he retires, same failings and doubts we all have, just a waste of time seeing a fictional characters ones,
now this is better! A Touch of Frost, Nothing to Hide, Frost investigates the death of a young junkie, Ben Cornish, the pathologist initially believes that Cornish choked on his own vomit but the autopsy reveals that he was beaten to death, then on that happy note, off to bed!
