photograph Dhritiman Mukherjee, but this looked so cute, the dad with an estimate 100 babies on his back, the
gharial is one of the endangered crocodilian species native to India and Nepal.
As of 2017, the IUCN estimates about 650 adult gharials left in the world,
normally the gharial does not father this many babies in one clutch, but this one that Mukherjee had taken a photograph of, apparently had mated with around 7 to 8
females, which explains why he has 100 babies on his back, to see more of this doting father gharial, have a look here, an amazing series of photographs.
